ISWinT (International Student Week in Timisoara) is an international festival dedicated to all the students around the world. Everything began in 1994 when a group of enthusiastic students who believed in the concept of unity, multiculturality and friendship, came up with some bold ideas for an event that would reunite youths from all over the world. The festival developed year by year, reaching the 19th edition, always inspired by a new team, innovative ideas and an increasing number of participants from all over the world. What ISWinT kept and passed on from generation to generation is the spirit, enthusiasm and motivation to make the best edition every year. We also share this dream and now is our chance to dream even further, to hope that we can make a change into the mentality of the society we live in today, by looking at the world through a new perspective. ISWinT, the event with the most editions in Europe and the oldest festival from the South-East part of the continent, takes place at the end of each university year, in July. ISWinT is founding member of S.Or.C.E. (Students Organizing Conventions Everywhere) and every year turns Timisoara into a multicultural city. This way, the participants have the opportunity to discover the romanian traditions that we try to make popular worldwide. The experience they accumulate from the wide romanian culture may play an important role in their adult lives. Through this festival, the participants are given the chance to start their graduate lives with a baggage full of not only knowledge but also experiences, feelings and memories.
